Why does the laptop power supply have to be turned on during recording?

Last update: 27. March 2023

The laptop must be connected to the power supply during recording as it ensures optimal performance. If used on battery, the graphics chip slows down, which results in decreased performance. Some laptops can also reduce the power available at the USB port while running on battery.
